Why do real estate agents attack 2.5% Real Estate Direct when trying to get a listing? 2.5% Real Estate Direct is a member of the Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors, the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors, the Central New York Association of Realtors, the New York State Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
All our agents are highly trained. Our success rate is the best in the industry: we sell a higher percentage of our listings, we sell them faster, and our median sale price is much greater. Our agents make more money. We are above reproach in all matters of ethical practice. So what is it? Clients tell us that real estate agents from other brokers say things like “when are you going to list with a real company”, “the owner is in trouble for ethical violations”, “we won’t show their listings”, “you get what you pay for” (implying somehow that paying more equates with more service or expertise, or something), “all of their listings are sold though other agents so you are saving only 1/2 percent (when in fact this vast majority of our homes are sold in house at only 2.5% commission). Why do these agents choose to falsely vilify us? Can’t these agents justify their fee with real facts and real results? Look at www.keepequity.com. Review our agent list. Review some of the homes they have sold. Take a look at the commissions paid. Yes, you get what you pay for with us. Do you with them?
